FISHING REPORT

MOLANDS . Much better this week with the big f1s starting to feed along with lots of carp up to 22lb. In the matches nets to over 230lb were caught and although this was a stand out weight there were good back up catches from most areas. The Top tactic was the method feeder fished tight to the island with wafter but bomb and pellet or waggler fished across have also accounted for some good catches. Carp anglers fishing the night have caught plenty of doubles and fish to over 20lb with boilies fished close in to the margins working best.

GEARYS . Fished a little tougher this week with some of the carp spawning over the weekend. All othe matches were won with around 100lb and decent back ups were caught from all around the.pool Bomb with pellet, method feeder and down the margins on corn or dead maggot over ground bait have been the most consistent approach in the matches. Pleasure anglers fishing into the evenings have caught fish to 23lb with boilies and PVA bags accounting for the bigger fish.

LITTLE GEARYS . The f1s are showing better with the low pressure suiting them better. Shallow caster or pellet at 14m on the pole, method feeder to the island and down the margins with meat, dead reds or worm have accounted for nets to around 100lb. most consistent areas have been pegs 7- 11,21 and 25-30.

ANNIVERSARIES Fished a little better this week with plenty of carp and f1s from 2-4lb showing around the pool. Meat fished short or pellet /caster shallow have been the outstanding tactics and on the wider pegs waggler or bomb with 6mm pellet as also caught well.

SIBLINGS A Match weight to around 80lb best this week but pleasure anglers reporting bigger catches fishing later in the day. The best tactic has still been meat fished short but long down the margins on corn ,dead reds or pellet fished over micros is also working. Shallow pellet or caster is also starting to produce and a mugging rig can pick up a few better sized carp.

SIBLINGS B . Nets to over 70lb this week with the bigger f1s starting to switch onto the caster fished shallow or down the edges. The bigger carp are coming to dobbing along the far side or to corn or dead maggots fished tight up to the far bank or down the margins with fish into double figures showing.

GRATUITIES Some lovely nets of silvers coming to caster or maggot which have included bream to 3lb,roach to 1lb and chub to 2lbin catches to over 30lb. Carp to around 15lb were caught on pellet waggler or surface baits such as dog biscuit

WILLOW Still not in the best of form with anglers fishing afternoon or eveving sessions enjoying the best action with carp and big f1s coming to corn or worm down the margins. In the day method or waggler tight to the island offers the best chance of action.
