FISHING REPORT

MOLANDS . Carp in the 10-20lb range have been providing the best chance of action with the f1s still reluctant to feed until late in the day. Method feeder or bomb and pellet fished up to the island has been the best tactic in matches with meat or corn over micros catching late on down the margins. Night anglers have reported carp to 25lb this week with krill and squid or tutti fruiti boilies fished over a bed of particles working well.

GEARYS . Carp are showing on all pegs with nets to 100lb reported by pleasure anglers. The inform method is to fish bomb with PVA bag with a wafter or 8mm pellet on the hook. Method feeder and down the margins with corn or worm over micros is also working well. Silvers are showing well particularly along the high bank with nets of skimmers and roach to 40lb are coming to pole fished maggot or caster.

LITTLE GEARYS The southerly breeze has pushed a lot of fish to the bottom end from pegs 13-25 producing nets to around 125lb . Caster shallow ,meat fished short or down the margins and a small method/pellet feeder fished up to the island have all caught a few fish.

ANNIVERSARIES . Fished quite hard this week with nets to around 40lb ,mainly made up with carp in the 1-5lb range but some nice f1s and ide also featuring. Pole fished banded pellet ,meat or maggots working best fished short or down the edges and bomb with 6mm pellet have been working best.

SIBLINGS A . Nets to over 90lb in matches which has mainly been made up with carp with fish to 15lb and plenty of doubles included. Bomb with 6mm pellet has worked well fished up to the island but pole with maggot, caster or meat fished long or down the margins has also been catching.

SIBLINGS B . Nets to over 50lb mainly made up with f1s but carp to double figures are also featuring . Caster or pellet fished across to the reedbeds has worked best through the day and coming down the margins with worm, corn or pellet over micros or ground bait catching well later in the day.

GRATUITIES Carp are showing best on the island with fish to double figures coming to waggler/bomb and pellet or a small method feeder fished tight up. Nice silvers nets coming to maggot ,caster or expander pellet fished down the middle of the pool.

WILLOW . A method feeder fished tight up to the island has been the best tactic taking nets to around 7lb of carp and f1s. Long pole with caster or pellet shallow and down the margins with worm ,paste ,corn or dead maggot have also accounted for decent catches as well
