FISHING REPORT

The fishing has got better through the week with most pools seeing an improvement with the milder weather..

MOLANDS Much better this week with match nets to 70lb + and some quality fish coming out from all around the pool. The water is still very clear and visual tactics such as bomb with bread or corn, zig rigs with popped up boilies or wafters are accounting for carp to 20lb with lots of double figure fish coming out.

GEARYS Nets to around 50lb best this week with carp coming to the bomb and PVA bag ,metod feeder with wafters and pole with 6mm banded hard pellet. Nice nets of skimmers coming from all around the pool with maggot over groundbait working best for nets to 25lb.

LITTLE GEARYS Still the most consistent pool with nets to 80lb this week and most pegs capable of good catches. Pole fished maggot either long or short has been the top tactic but bomb with 6mm pellet /wafter, maggot feeder or a small method feeder have all been worth a go.

SIBLINGS A Tough this again week but signs of an improvement at the weekend when carp and f1s fed a little stronger and nets to 40lb were caught. Dobbing bread on the pole or bomb and bread accounted for the better nets with short pole and maggot starting to work later in the day.

SIBLINGS B still not in great form with nets to 30lb best this week and dobbing bread or pellet across to the far bank has been the best tactic.

ANNIES Has been producing nets to over 50lb and f1s and small carp are coming bomb with 6mm pellet and wafters,or a small method/hybrid feeder with the pegs at the top end of the pool from 1-10 and 20-23 are still in the best form.

WILLOW Pool has seen weights to over 50lb with the flyer peg 5 in the best form at the moment and waggler or long pole with banded pellet has been the best approach.
