Despite a slow start the lake fished well in the afternoon, Don had 8 carp fishing pole and corn at peg 31 his biggest fish was a common carp just over 11lb. In 2nd Barry fished a small ground bait feeder and corn cast to the far bank he had just 4 carp – 9lb.

A very cold start to the match and it looked like Fred at 31 on the bore would walk it having 10 carp in the 1st hour but his swim dried up when the sun came out he ended with a total of 17 carp – 3lb fishing pole and corn. A late run from fishery new comer Reizarb at 17 he fished pole and pellet for 8 carp – 9lb

Back on the Cavendish lake because of the strong cold wind proved a good move. John fished pole and pellet at peg 12 feeding a pot of soft pellets at the start and only feeding any more when the bites dried up he finished with 47lb 14oz of skimmers the biggest being 2lb
