Kev was the only angler to break the magical 100lb barrier, fishing peg 21 on the corner of the bay and sheltered from the wind he fished pole and meat down the margin after a slow start the fish moved into the bay when the sun came out and Kev started to catch, he had 30 carp – 7lb and finished with 114lb 8oz. 2nd placed Tony was along way behind with 66lb 6oz of carp – 5lb all caught on pole and double red maggot fished into spare peg 10

The top two anglers renewed there membership into this years ton up club, Pete coming out top from inform peg 31 but the wind made it hard for him to fish the pole at the usual pole at distance, he started fishing the pole at 11m with corn on the hook he had 15 carp – 3lb and when the wind eased he fished on top of the submerged building and started catching carp – 8lb ending the match with 140lb 8 oz. 2nd placed fishery owner Mick alternated the pole and pellet and the method feeder with corn  cast to the island he was into carp from the off and ended with 2 nets full of carp – 7lb and a total of 109lb 3oz. 3rd was John Darby fishing the pole and maggot for a mixed net of roach bream and carp. On this inform Lake there were 12 weights over 50lb, 36lb 9oz was the lowest weight weighed in and only 2 anglers failed to use the scales

John Holmes finally made it to the top after having numerous 2nd place finishes over the last few weeks, he fished pole and pellet on 2 lines over a bed of pellets he weighed in 52lb 4oz of bream and carp to 3lb, Kev had little to offer the scales man but with an hour to go he had 6 carp – 7lb on pole and corn from his margin swim, 3rd place went to Steve Richards fishing pole and maggot up to the island for a mixed net of chub roach and skimmers, the next three places couldn’t be separated each weighing in 35lb 4oz
