Peter Bass looks delighted with this superb 12lb 13oz rainbow trout, the biggest of the season so far from Anglian Water’s Ravensthorpe Reservoir. 

The fish took a Pitsford Pea pattern and is a personal best.  

Also this week, Newcastle angler Gary Munro made the drive to Ravensthorpe worthwhile with a 9lb 4oz rainbow trout, again to a Pitsford Pea.
