Catch of the Week from Ireland goes to Richard Gibson form Virginia with his massive 7kg (15lbs 2oz) trout caught on Monday last in Hollywell Bay on Lough Sheelin.

The fish, which was 32 inches long, was caught on a Buster lure and sets a new record for the famous lake.
The fish was brought to shore in a pike tube and weighed at the Shannon Fisheries Board base on Lough Sheelin before being carefully returned alive.
