Robert Harman, who runs popular West Sussex match venue Stubpond Fishery, has pledged to shave his head in the hope of raising over £1000 for the charity Child Victims of Crime.

And he’s not alone, because he’s persuaded his son Simon and pal Peter Upperton, who has had a beard for 20 years, to join in the fun.

The big event takes place at the venue on June 3, and Robert is appealing for sponsorship.

“We’ve been raising money through matches for the last three years but decided to do something different. It’s in a good cause, helping abused children, and all sponsorship would be much appreciated,” said Robert.
