REPORT

MOLANDS Showed some decent form this week with nets to 60lb+ caught in matches with carp to 17lb and F1s to 6lb featuring in catches. Maggot feeder is still the top tactic fishing tight across to the island or just down the far bank shelf. Pole and maggot or pellet is also working well on some areas. Best pegs have been 2 – 6, 25 – 29, 41 – 48 and 52 – 58.

GEARYS Fished hard this week with only the odd carp coming to bomb and bread. The skimmers have been hard to find too with nets just into double figures, taken on ground bait feeder and maggot on long pole with maggot or caster.

LITTLE GEARYS Pegs 5 – 13 and 25 – 29 have been best with the F1s to 4lb showing in nets to around 50lb. Maggot feeder is the top tactic with the pole and pellet also starting to give good results.

SIBLINGS A Starting to improve with nets of F1s and ide coming to pole fished maggot and pegs 5, 9 and 13 – 17 have been the pick of the pegs.

SIBLINGS B Very good this week with lots of F1s and small carp showing along with the odd carp to around double figures. Dobbing bread or long pole with pinkies has accounted for catches to around 40lb.

ANNIVERSARIES The best pegs have been 2 – 6 and 17 – 23 with lots of F1s showing in these areas. Like most of the pools the maggot feeder is the main tactic but long pole with pellet, maggot or pinkies is also catching on Annies.

WILLOW The top peg has been 7 fishing down the edge with corn or pellet and has accounted for carp and F1s in nets to around 30lb. Pole and pellet or maggot has worked on the other pegs with mixed nets of F1s and skimmers.
