 Preston Innovations UK Individual Championship

Round Four, Woodland View

80 Pegs

The venue was in a fickle mood and the top four individuals all came off High Pool. Wayne Mellings (Maver Midlands) won the match off fancied Peg 27 on High Pool. His 26 carp were caught using close-in tactics with pellet and meat to win him £1,000 on the day. Paul Coyle (Ted Carter/ Sonubaits) was crowned overall winner after scoring a section win and second on the day from the opposite bank on High Pool. He caught shallow at 14 metres at the start then topped that up with four lumps down the edge on sweetcorn and picked up the £4,000 winner’s cheque and coveted claret trophy for his efforts.
