The Master and Owners of French trawler Vierge De L’Ocean (SM584781) have been fined a total of £13,000 plus £1,700 costs after admitting logbook offences at Brixham Magistrates Court this week (11 October).

The vessel had been detained by HMS Severn in the Western Channel, and after an inspection the Master and Owners were charged with failing to record quantities of cod, haddock, ling, john dory, skate, bib (pout), lemon sole, anglerfish, and dogfish.
