when you get to your peg place your micros in a bait tub cover with water and put the lid on, turn over and put face down in the grass let the water drain out throught the holes in the lid.

sprinkling horlicks on once they are soft is supposed to be good for binding them

The dogs spot on. Also pour the water from your sweet corn on them, the sugary water helps them stick.

I went on Saturday instead nige. Had my first dry net in 2 years. Just stuck on the feeder. I think I need to go old school there, they didn’t like it modern.

Perhaps you need to try a different pellet. Paler (lower oil) pellets seem to be easier to use than darker ones. Although I have had some dark ones which dampen easily, maybe the others were too old?
I just cover mine with plenty of water when I get to my peg and leave them. Probably about 4 pints of water to 2 pints of micros.
By the time I start fishing, they are perfect for squeezing a ball or pressing onto a method feeder.
Don’t be afraid to really give them a hard squeeze, either. They may look like a ball of paste, but they still break down into individual pellets again.
