Hate to set this off on a bad note but I actually find this pretty sad.
If this was for charity maybe, but to raise money for the teams to compete… grim.
I’m guessing it’s for the fringe teams – although it doesn’t say.
Perhaps someone from the Angling Trust can come on here and enlighten me???

It’s a terrible state of affairs Geeps and stems from the lack of financial support that the Angling trust has been able to generate, it’s time that any angler fishing at any level would have to be an angling trust member. How they do this I have no idea! All sports have a governing body, most other sports anyone playing their sport in a league has to be a member of the governing body, maybe they need to make the price of joining lower to get all anglers to join sea, course and game a fiver a man? But change needs to happen.

I’ve established that it’s for the Ladies and Vets teams.
