Elinor continues to fish much better than usual for mid July helped by cooler water temperatures.
Boat and bank anglers enjoyed good dry fly sport.
Mornings continue to be best with lots of fish on the top until slowing down around 2pm.
Damsels are the main food source. Fish are taking nymphs and adults. A few mayfly continue to hatch and on some days there have been good numbers of flying ants which the trout seem to love.
