The White Acres NFA Ladies Team England Manager, Tom Pickering is hosting a Ladies match at Thorne on the Stainforth & Keadby Canal in Yorkshire on 20th October, 2007.

The match will be fished to international rules and Tom will be using the match to introduce more female anglers to the style required for international fishing. This is an ideal opportunity for all female anglers who would like to learn about the methods and techniques needed to fish at the highest level to receive some expert coaching from the England coach himself.

The match is open to anyone and entry fees for the match are £13 in total (£3 pegging fee and £10 pools). You are able to fish with 1 pint of joker and 12 litres of groundbait and leam.

Team Manager, Tom Pickering commented, “I wanted to run the match so that female anglers could get a chance to fish to international rules and also to provide an opportunity compete against some of the highest quality female anglers in the country. Also I will be on hand to provide coaching and answer any questions about international fishing.”
