Graham King has beaten the barbel record for the second time in a fortnight with a fish known as ‘The Traveller’ at 21lb 2oz, Total-Fishing can reveal.

The fish was caught yesterday evening from a different swim on the Adams Mill syndicate stretch of the Great Ouse to the one that produced the fish at 20lb 15oz two weeks ago.

He has also had barbel of 15lb, 16lb and 17lb from the same swim over the last fortnight, and is catching far more big barbel than anyone else on the stretch at the moment.

Graham’s story of his 20lb 15oz fish is in the current Midland Angler and Southern Angler. Look out for Graham’s own story on the UK’s first 21lb barbel and a run down of his deadly rigs in January’s issue.
