The NFA, the approved delivery centre for ADB Coaching Courses are pleased to announce there are a few remaining places left on a 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Angling course taking place in Bramley near Rotherham starting on the 22nd November.

The course can be taken by anyone over the age of 17, who has successfully completed a Level 1 coaching qualification.

The Level Two accreditation will then enable you to apply for your License to Practice and to organise planned and progressive angling coaching sessions for all sections of the community.

The qualification is a six day course delivered over the following dates:

Day One – Saturday 22nd November 2008
Day Two – Sunday 23rd November 2008
Day Three – Saturday 24th January 2009
Day Four – Sunday 25th January 2009
Day Five – Saturday 28th February 2009
Day Six – Saturday 21st March 2009

The course includes a structured delivery and assessment programme consisting of a minimum of 48 hours of tutor delivered theory and practical sessions plus a further 42 hours of home study. The course will also include a certificated Emergency First Aid workshop and a Safeguarding & Protecting Children workshop, both of which are pre-requisites of the qualification.
