West Midlands venue Leighton Pools has produced a new venue record 71lb catfish (pictured). The fish was banked by local angler Steve Horton, who fished a deadbait four feet off the bottom. It beats the best mark at the three-lake Codsall Wood water five miles from Wolverhampton by 7lb.
