Weights were slightly lower than usual for this latest match on bridge pool and mixed bags of skimmers and odd carp were the mainstay.Rich Teigh opted for pole and pellet over microfeed at 6m for over 5olb of skimmers in his winning catch.
2nd K Pacey (Crooked Billet) peg Island 8 60-2-0
Ken started on pole and paste over hemp and pellet for carp and later added 2olb of skimmers on expander pellet at 10m
3rd D Oldham (Maltby) peg Island 22 42-9-0
Daz also used pellet to good effect in his skimmer dominated weight of 42lb

1st A Beresford (Map Leegem) peg Br Island 23 95-12-0
This proved to be the veterans best contest of the year so far with many weights over 5olb.Leading the way was venue regular Arthur Beresford from Bridge Island 23.Arthur fished shallow with pellet and meat at 12m for mainly carp to 12lb
2nd P Bagshaw (Barnsley) peg Br Island 12 91-2-0
Pete Bagshaw finished just one fish behind with 91lb.Pete used pellet and corn both on short pole and in the margins for carp to 12lb and a few skimmers
3rd G Lilley (Map Leegem) peg Br Island 6 75-10-0
Graham fished waggler and pellet shallow to the aerator for carp to 15lb

Lee Coupe recorded another ton from moat pool in this latest Friday match.Lee fished pole with paste over pellet and hemp feed at 6m and 12m for carp into double figures
2nd A Lakey (Gateford) peg 53 95-7-0
Andy fell just one fish short of the ton with 95lb.Andy used corn and pellet over groundbait in the margins also for carp into double figures
3rd R Austin (Halkon Hunt) peg44 88-12-0
Rob caught carp and skimmers shallow alternating meat and pellet

Jason Thomas on peg 2 blitzed this Saturday field with a magnificent 159-12-0. Jason fished up in the water with meat and pellet at 13m for 30+ carpto 8lb

Daz Oldham was second and he also used shallow tactics alternating waggler and pole with pellet baits for 19 carp to 8lb

Gary Mumby romped to victory in round 5 of this years MAP Leegem series, with a splendid display of pole fishing shallow using pellet and luncheon meat at 13m. Gary netted carp up to 9lbs plus the odd bream up to 3lbs plus in his winning ton plus net.
2 Pete Tatley, MAP Mansfield, 113-11-0; peg island 8 Notts
Second place on the day fell to Pete Tatley who also netted a ton plus weight of carp. Pete caught most of his fish from both margin edges using ground bait with pellets and corn on the hook.
3 P Wright, MAP Leegem, 86-8-0; peg island 23 Derbys
Phil Wright took the close third spot with a net of carp too 8lbs plus fishing soft paste over hemp and pellet at 12m on the pole.
