The NFSA’s Big Game team failed to retain their world title in Port de
Pollenca after finishing a disappointing 8th place.
After the first day the team were in a good position of fifth. However, day
two turned out to be a disaster and the team picked up a shocking 13
points, which pushed them well out of a medal winning chance.
Senagal won the championship with 14 points,
France second with 15 points
and
Germany third with 17 points.
This year’s competition was a more open affair than last year with the top
10 teams being covered by 12 points.
Last year
England won with event with a highly respectable seven points.
