The book covers Duncan’s progression as a specimen angler over the last decade or so, since the capture of a 31lb 10oz pike from Thorpe Park in 2002.It also delves into his early days as a match angler, through the days of pleasure fishing and then into what most know him for, as dedicated and highly successful specimen angler who targets all species.

Over 350 pages the book also includes chapters on the capture of two British record fish and covers most freshwater species, from eels to estuary fishing for mullet. It is also just as much a photographic work, with hundreds of colour images throughout the 31 chapters and Duncan has included the funny moments we all have whilst fishing and uses verbatim words taken from his big fish diary of some of the more memorable sessions.

There is a free chapter on Calm Production’s website that can be downloaded and covers Carp Fishing On The Thames, to give people a taster.
