Used my tourney pro yesterday for the first time and am a wee bit dissapointed(i think).
Firstly i am in doubt as to wether the 12ft is for me as i have always used 11ft but i suppose i can get used to that.
Secondly,is the thinner, more whippy tip up to chuckin 6/8/10g floats out time after time.
Although it was windy(VERY) yesterday waggler was the way i went(had to be wi my new rod in the bag)and there were fish to be had….BUT….(back to the rod)…
After having Prestons Mini rods for a few years and they are great rods i dont think the Tourney would be up to the demands of fast n furious pellet wag…i might be wrong but i just felt the Prestons were better suited.
What are your views who own one.
        Thanks

I have the Tourney Pro 12ft daz but depite watching Will Raison bagging up with one i’m still a bit doubtful myself.
I also have a Spectron M2 12ft 2 piece Pellet waggler rod which is a much better bet if your a bit of an animal 😉
Might be prepared to do a swap?

Have to agree the pro is not a pellet wag rod, the spectron M2s are perfect for the job.

Had them and were ok, probably better than most currently available, but I prefer old Normark Titan and Avenger 2000s. I do like the Shakespeare Mach 3 for when I want an 11ft rod but most of the time I prefer a 12ft.

What kind of a deal would you be thinking of dirkdiggler(cool username by the way).

                Cheers.

I’ve got 2 12ft Tourney’s and don’t have a problem fishing pellet wags with them, best rod’s I’ve ever owned. I also have 2 13ft pellet wagglers and use them for big wagglers without a problem
