The heavy rain tried its best to spoil the day but you still needed three figure weights to win the match. Ben Holmes drew peg 23 and fished the long pole at 13m and late in the match down the margin landing 28 big carp – 12lb on meat fished on the bottom finishing with a creditable 154lb 3oz. 2nd placed Carl drew peg 31 for the 2nd week in a row fishing the pole and pellet up in the water, after a slow start he managed to land 119lb 15 oz of carp – 7lb.

One of the best weights this year from this lake Dave fished the pole and corn down the margin at 12m he had a busy day landing an all carp net with his biggest fish going just 4lb making a total of 91lb 8oz. At the next peg John also fished the pole down the margin fishing at 8m with meat he landed 17 carp – 8lb in his net of 82lb 1oz.
