Mainly silvers mate the last time we went (approx 18 months ago). you’ll catch skimmers, roach, rudd and chub in the main espcially at this time of year. Your mate needs to take mainly maggot, caster bit of fishmeal g/bait(only half kilo allowed in either feeder or pole cup) and some worms and pellet (have to buy pellet from fishery but use own hookers). I personally would fish 2 lines – a chop worm/caster or pellet line and a seperate maggot line , both at approx 11-13 meters. I would set an up-in-water rig up too to fish over the maggot line for the rudd/roach/chub. It is not carp dominated and i would be very very suprised to see it won with an all carp catch!
