Hi guys, i will improve on this post later as ive just come back from whiteacres 8 hours in the car

We booked through lobwormking through Maggotdrowners and the caravan was surpurb also over looking jennys lake would highly recomend it to anyone looking fora holiday there, the dynamite baits festival was on this week so i couldnt fish the better lakes through the week, in full i had 3 days fully fishing til around 8-9pm and others i just fished when i could mainly from 5-6pm to 8pm.

DAY 1, we got to the site and booken into the van etc at around 12.30 and i went for a quick walk round some of the lakes and decided on Pollawyn i set up on the first peg i came to on the lake to the point of the island at around 12m i started on the method , casting as tight as possible to the next pegs bank and from the off started catching small f1s…..THEN the heavens opened thunder and lighting started and it poured down… out came the brolly and i started on the pole, and for the rest of the session i caught f1s to 2lb and skimmers to 1lb every put in i had a fish, but the weather had got to bad with the wind starting to ruin presentation So… i had a look on the margin lines and lost 3 lumps:( and one that went under my platform and snapped me so ..thats enough for 1 day soaked to the bone and all my gear soaked ……… i packed everything up and went back to the caravan pitted.

DAY 2 , During the day i had been kayaking as it was a family day to and i didnt bring it for nothing…. We got back at around 5pm and i headed straight over to jennys, yet again first peg i come to right next to the caravan and 3 pegs down tony curd was setting up to which was a bonus free lesson really yet again i started on the method catching bigger f1s then normal then a lump which didnt fight until it got to the net i spent 2 hours on the feeder with an endless amount of fish coming into the net ( unusual for me ) but i had been feeding my left hand side margin and there were fish swirling (carp) but couldnt get past the roach Then tony, (brasem) came along and gave me some tips with my feeding to get past the small roach and onto the carp… it was solid! as soon as i started feeding a bigger pellet and putting a massive piece of meat on instead of corn and expanders i started catching, and i didnt loose 1 fish BRASEM DID what a night had some real lumps and i had to stop when sadly i couldnt see my float anymore as it was that dark.

DAY 3, A FULL days fishing On jennys … only pegs (1-24) were being used in the festival so i could fish any peg on the lodge bank i decided to fish in the middle of the lake, i decided to go on the method most the day as this lake was badly affected by wind, the weather was pretty much 30 minutes of sun 10 of rain all day on and off but it didnt put any of the other keen pleasure anglers off as like myself i caught all day on the method to the point of the island jennys has 3-4 islands just to let you know and its a comfy chuck to the island i had all f1s and 2 skimmers and 1 carp for 5 hours, during that time DIASASTER somehow a duck managed to get the hook off one of my bands holding the rig firm on my top kit into its feathers and flew off with it round the back of the island and it sat there and managed to free its self i waited until the match was over and guess who went kayaking …….. to the island i retrived it no damage done even got my float back but the elastic was stretched out and snapped i was not to bothered as long as i got the kit back after i met Lee Kerry who had won the match and was walking round the lake, and had a chat about the lake and he said at least you didnt get wet getting it back what a nice lad and that was me done for the night

DAY 4, I Fished but only for 2 hours on the night on jennys again and had company from brasem as he was having ago on the pellet feeder, and i caught some real lumps on the pole on pastevery enjoyable night

DAY 5, Today i planned on going on one of the pleasure lakes Called Eery, on peg 11 yet again a method peg, i only went on this peg for 3-4 hours as the rain and wind was terrible, but still i caught most the day , but only managed mirror carp averaging 3lb most the day, and caught some nice roach on top 2 kit, Sadly i snapped a top kit as result of the wind

DAY 6, My last FULL days fishing …… and at whiteacres…. I decided to go back on jennys to try the pellet feeder i spent all day up th top end on the pellet feeder, ive never used it before and didnt really have any confidence in it UNTIL the tip went round and it kept going round all day, i also spent a couple of hours on the pole catching crucians it was like a juczzy (not sure if thatshow you spell it ) in my swim but the bites were so finicky but managed 15 crucians and some f1s on the pole, and i went back to the feeder as the rain started, and i had a surprise GOLDFISH which was good to catch, and they put up a good fight i now have lot of confidence in the pellet feeder well more than i did and will be using it alot more… anyway i packed up early at 5pm and went back to the van to pack clothes for this moring when we left loved my week at whiteacres and will defo be going back next year saw to top anglers and expereinced some top fishing sad to go 🙁

Now at home where its raining and i have loads of gear to sort for a match next week… ALSO i lost my hooklength box full of 4inch hooklengths so that will need replacing as well as a cupping kit 🙁
