        Need a decent hook for fishing the boards at c;lattercote res.Fished a match there saturday and got straightened 4 times which cost the section.Problem is that you have to hit and hold to stop them going into the boards and they are big fish….Managed to straighten Kamasan Animal Hooks so need something stronger….So any advise would help as back there again sunday

          Sounds like you need something from the Speci Carp boys. ESP Raptor or similar.

            Fox S2 carp hooks the smallest barbless they do is size 10 but cant see you straightening one unless your using 20lb line and doubled up brown hydro

              ESP raptors are the boys Barry Gannon recommended these to me yonks ago for the sort of situation you have described, however check out the sizes when you buy as they tend to look a bit small compared to other hooks.
