If alan has signed with Drennan,this will be a very good.both for alan and the angling public.as everyone probably owns,or has an item of tackle made by Drennan.and although ability is not based on the tackle you own.it will be good to see probably the best match angler in the world,using top quality tackle,that is priced in a bracket everyone can afford to buy themselves,and copy the same methods being demonstrated. 🙂

its defo drennan i put a post on here months ago saying alan would be wearing pink+blue from what i was told hes just been waiting for his mustad ties/commitments to expire+then hes moving camp if you look at the recent features hes been doing in the mags hes singing drennans praises ref hooks ect what an awsome signing for them good luck alan 😉

Do Drennan still supply the Zircon pole. A dealer mate of mine reckons its not in the 2011 Drennan trade catalogue or this years.
Wherever he’s heading its not goin to affect his,fishing commitment.a truly fantastic angler.good luck to him.

When I read Alans piece in the latest mag I was surprised how many references he made to Drennan tackle. Seems this is where he is bound.
I am struggling to think of any tackle Drennan have sold that was not good. In many ways their stuff has been ground breaking so if this is where Alan is bound things can only get better.

i can remember when he departed with trabucco, alan was quoted as saying that it did not matter what tackle he uses with the exception of his seat box. bearing that in mind, my guess would be Riva.
but my gut says Fox.
