General

Another TON UP out this week in the Friday match on Lookout, all lakes are fishing very well if you choose the correct method to use according to conditions and use watercraft when choosing your peg. Getting the feed patterns correct is essential as fish are feeding up for winter but you can very easily over feed them, best tip feed very little (e.g. if on pellet only 5 pellets to feed, or if on maggot only 5 for feed) but do this on every minute!!!! This keeps fish interested but not overfed, you can feed more on your first time out in your swim but then back to little but often. Fish are tight in margins either at backside or out tight to far bank, and tight means almost touching reeds, or silvers at 3 meters out of 2nd bottom shelf at dead bottom or up in the water for Rudd etc.

Another Ton up in Fridays Match from peg 15 by ‘ONE’

Exceptional catches this week with certain pegs favouring carp or silvers choose your method of fishing by using watercraft, and always have a tip rod, bomb rod, float rod and pole to hand so you can change your method of fishing if the wind suddenly gets up or drops.

Match your feed patterns to the method of feeding so you can target species specific i.e. spray maggots over float for Rudd up in the water, or use groundbait mixed with angel 3 mm pellets and add maggots for fishing dead depth for Skimmers and Bream, or use conker (angel 10mm pellets banded on hook, covered by paste made from angels 3mm pellets) on a bomb rod,

Some great catches both of large doubles as well as numbers of carp out this week, good numbers of Bream out with the biggest yet caught of 12lb 4oz a very dark almost black bream. Silvers are also doing well with Ide averaging well over 1lb 8oz and lots of tench, rudd even coming out on 6mm pellets.
