  Â£4.50 because it includes a waste of time DVD. I can imagine it is because the DVDs that used to be available at Â£9.99 were not great sellers so now you have to buy it if you want the mag.
  
  I know that I will not be buying MF or APF anymore.

  dont mean to sound funny,
  but its only a quid !!!
  and no-ones forcing you to buy the mag !!!
  although i do think its a little unfair that subscribers dont have to pay the difference, and im a subby myself,,,although i aint recieved this months yet!!!
  id still buy it if i wasnt a subby though,, like i said,, imo, its only a quid,and its a pretty decent read lately !!!

  The point is that most mags give you a free gift DVD. But with apf a few months ago and now with MF the mag goes up Â£1.
  
  Either you lot don’t mind the extra for a nothing DVD or it’s me counting my Job seekers allowance wisely.

  You’re right about the DVD though, really was rubbish – I don’t believe anyone on earth would pay Â£9.99 for that, they’d struggle to shift it in the pound store :-/

  what im saying is you have a valid point, im just not sure id have put my name to an argument over a quid !!!!
  we’ve all just paid about a quid each in tax to pay for security and a wedding we didnt even get a bloody envite to !!!!
  now thats a quid worth griping about,,
  how ever,, if prince william should read this post,, i dont want me quid back,, ill settle for a quicky with yer missus !!!!

  I think the Pole Fishing DVD (last year, obviously I haven’t picked up the next one as it’s not in the shops yet) was worth the extra quid in terms of it being an instructional DVD, and I didn’t begrudge paying it (even beforehand) as it had already been filmed.
  
  The Matchfishing one however….. Well, angling hero’s…. I can perhaps think of many others that would befit that before Harry! Ashurst, Nudd, Pickering, Scotthorne, Gardner and Marks to name but a few, it sounds to me like someone blowing their own trumpet~naughty

  The Jobn Arthur PF DVD was ok, not watched the MF DVD yet so can’t really comment. Quite enjoyed both MF & PF mags recently & am a subscriber so no issue with the price increase to cover the DVD.

  the sound quality was crap to say the least they need a new sound recorder as dave harrel’s mic wasn’t working so when you turn the tv up to hear him mr hall speaks and you then go deaf in the end i turned it off very poor can i have my Â£1 back

  well it stopped me from buying it this month I had every intention to but dont care if its a quid or a Â£1000 I woun’t be forced to buy something I dont want (and I definitely didnt want that dvd) oh well maybe next month

  Oh well each to their own. For a Â£ I enjoyed the DVD. Why not Harry? He has been there/done that and has fished eras/venues coninciding with DH. I remember DH having to talk/interview Ivan Marks in the early days of Clean River videos just to get a decent programme. The new DVD reminded me of that in a way and I daresay many complaining would not have bad mouthed a legend like Ivan (RIP) for example. I like the hero features in the mag too.

  Being relatively young as anglers go (27), and having had a little experience in team fishing i found the DVD quite interesting, wonder if DH will be flogging the others in future mags??

  Alright for rich, robbing plumbers like Lloyd with loads of money but I agree with Dave, if you buy the mag regularly, why should you all of a sudden have to pay more!? A quid is a lot of money to me and think of all the quids added together that they are making! I’ll just be reading it in WH Smith library!

  enjoyed the mag and thought the dvd was a good watch even if it did show the esteemed editor DH, to be honest one of the best vids I ever enjoyed was the stick float vid Dave did catching those prestine roach,without a doubt Dave was and still is a legend on the rivers,without a doubt one of the best on rivers, lets face it those old enough to remember the old 507 gold max that dave endorsed had ever angler I know rush out and buy one on his recomendation (even if the reel was flawed lol|) how can anglers complain less than a fiver for a mag and DVD yet think nothing of spending 2 grand + on a pole. I know moneys tight but come on!
