Result of AVVC / Redditch Federation of Anglers Arrow Valley Lake individual League second round, Arrow Valley Lake 3.12.11
A good turn out of 21 anglers fished this second round match of the nine match series and found some reasonable winter sport with bream on a bright and windy day.
Trevor Wyse (Dynamite Baits) took full advantage of his good draw on point peg 69, where his method feeder approach with bread hookbait accounted for twelve bream and a solitary carp for a good winter score of 37lb 3oz.
Match organiser John Bushell (Maver Solihull Angling) fished in similar style, but with sweetcorn on the hook to take runner-up spot. John had eleven bream for 23lb 2 oz taken casting to the island on peg seven.
Dave Schofield (Redditch) took third spot with eight bream for 18lb 15oz, once again method feeder was the successful method.
