Result of AVVC / Redditch Federation of Anglers Arrow Valley Lake individual League sixth round, Arrow Valley Lake 3.3.2012
Fourteen competed in this latest round of the league, and found the lake in better form than of late following a mild week.
Top man on the day was Dave Boyle who took full advantage of a good draw on peg 55 with a steady display of method feeder fishing, casting close to the island and using red boilies on the hook Dave winkled out fifteen bream for a 38lb 5oz return.
Runner-up Mark Dowery was just around the corner from the winner on peg 54 and fished in similar style, Mark had a brace of carp for over 19lb to which he added four good bream to total 28lb 5oz.
Redditch angler Dave Schofield, continuing his strong form in the league, took third spot with 11lb 14oz; Dave’s catch also taken on the method comprised four bream and one perch.

Competition in the league is now becoming very keen and with anglers dropping their worst three results from the series a tight finish is inevitable.
