bait for my first festival

hi guys.

I have qualified for the preston festival in oct.
It will be my first time fishing one. so have a couple of questions regarding bait.

1, can you please recommend a ground bait mix for porth.

2, I know what bait’s are required, but have no idea about quantites. ie, how many pints of casters/kilos of worm should see me through the week, and so on.

For porth most take a fishmeal mix of their choice, importantly though make sure you can make balls that will bind for the pole line or use two mixes. I was recommended the f1 mix but it needd some binder. I will be taking 10 pints caster and 2 kills of worms. Caster mainly for porth and as back up if I draw badly on other lakes and need silvers .

I normally take 2kg of worm and 10pts casters.

Buy my maggots (and more casters) there if needed.

I know some people take more………
