I fished there myself yesterday and although I didn’t do too well personally………..the method to bag up on was definitely the slow sinking buble float! The guys using this absolutely cleaned up! Note that the fish would not take any less than a 6mm Pellet. Better off feeding 6mm and fishing an 8mm. I was on the Pellet Waggler but was struggling to maintain consistent bites with the conditions……very windy.

The guys on the slow sinking bubble were fishing just short of middle………….mainline of around 5-6lb with a 4lb HL……….average stamp of fish around 3lbs. I wouldn’t recommend a heavier mainline as you need some strech for the takes……they’re ferocious to say the least. Also…..the fish swim directly to you upon hooking and also along the top so be prepared for it. We fished pegs 1-12 with the lower numbers also taking fish in the margins. Hope this helps. ;0)
