This is the flagship rod in the new Greys Prodigy TX range. The Prodigy TX 12ft Specialist Twin Tip is aimed at the angler who targets both big river fish and rod benders on commercial fisheries. The high modulus carbon blank is equally at home casting large loaded floats like surface controllers – with its standard top section, as it is launching out wide ranging feeder tackle with its back-up quivertip options. The standard top section has a 1.25lb test curve, which is also ideal for light carp and heavy-duty river fishing, with attacking float gear, or serious leger and feeder tackle. The quivertip option covers all feeder fishing, including river blockends, stillwater open-end designs, plus popular method tactics. Supplied with 1.5oz, 2.5oz (fibreglass) and 3.5oz (carbon) quivertips, this rod applies itself to everything from short to long range casting – it’s a genuine all-rounder! Greys have included an unobtrusive matt grey finish, braid safe SIC guides, a screw lock reel seat, enlarged quivertip eyes for shock leaders and a classy cork handle.
