TF_finAs said above, b560 & 3405, i use the kamasan for bigger skimmers or when chance of bream and the sensas when skimmers and more roach.

AnonymousB511 too bendy ? You’re using the wrong hook then. For canal roach & skimmers it’s spot-on. But if you’re catching lots and lots of fish and speeds an issue then you need something with a longer shank to get hold of.

TF_Bear361ParticipantB511`s or if I expect bigger fish using a bigger bait I`ll use B560`s. (I mean bigger skimmers and perch)

TF_NathanWatsonB511 is also silver! And he wants something stronger for bigger fish! So, as the 1st man said B560 or B711.

TF_jwbB511,(B512 if u can still get your hands on them), for general silver fish and skimmers. Sensa 3405 if u need slightly heavier.
B560 is the hook I use on the rivers for silvers but can also be used on canal for caster or light chop fishing.~clap -

TF_mike pattinsonIf using barbed and lots of perch to be caught VMC 9031 not exactly wide gape but sharp and stay sharp, fine wire ex-strong.
Can usually get away with a bigger size.
