              What’s a pellet waggler?

Maxima is about the worst line possible for any form of waggler fishing.

                Leave it well alone IMO.

You need a floating line, something robust that knots well.

This should help http://www.fishing-world.co.uk/matchtips/fishing-the-dumpy-waggler.html About the best article on pellet waggler fishing ever imho

Slider, you dont want a floating line. Here is why http://www.onlinefishing.tv/articles/hints-article/25/

If Gareth Purnell see,s this. Useful video Well explained but whats with the 3 tackle brands seal of aproval at the end of the video? All 3 lines state 6lb. Total contradiction of everything you said in the video.

Nowt wrong with Maxima for waggler fishing, often need it to sink and if you don’t sink it, it doesn’t! Most of the top waggler anglers I know use Maxima!

I understand the comments regarding Maxima etc. but i see that oddman is a junior member! Consequently a cheaper alternative may be a better solution, with that in mind I would recommend Daiwa Sensor line. This is available in bulk spools for about £7 in 4lb,6lb & 8lb bs.
                            Regards Peter

daiwa sensor in 4lb will cover most of your pellet wag work cheap and robust just spray some line sink on but dont actually sink the line if that makes sence!

                                Try this

                                http://www.float-store.co.uk/shop/article_62/Lazer-Match-Line–0.19mm%2C-3.65-Kg.-150m.-spool.html?shop_param=cid%3D19%26aid%3D62%26

Don’t let the price put you off this stuff is about as good as it gets for pellet wag fishing.
