I have gone back to lead shot for my pole rigs as i find stotts move about easily, although I am having trouble getting the small shots ie no10s and 12s on the line and find some of my shot dont hang straight on the line due to poor uneven splits.
Any tips for the best make of shot to use and tips for easy aplication to the line would be helpfull.
Are the auto shotters any good?
        Thanks in advance the crumb

Garboino for me, no probems at all, use stotta to put them on the line.

ZLT, no doubt about it, best shot by a country mile.

Another one for ZLTs. Easy to move if i want but dont move much while fishing. They dont damage the line when moved. Dont often ping off the line when playing big carp. Easier to remove with a nail than any other shot i,ve used. Been a nightmere to find in my local tackle shops but will not use anything else now. Best shot i,ve ever used for pole rigs and waggler dropper shot. Not tryed the bigger sizes yet but suspect they are very good.

                      Trueblue,

Plenty on ebay if you are stuck.

                      Hope this helps.

Still biting em on with my teeth, any tips on how best to apply them read a good tip somwhere about how to get them lined up with the slots uppermost but cant find it now 🙁

Dont use teeth Punchcrumb, used a Stota as already suggested or a pair of long nose pliers. Try it and you will notice a big difference.
