        what are you guys using???
anglers do seem to have favourites,, i-e b911’s for hooks!
just wondering if theres a pellet out there i aint tried yet that would be worth a go !!!
heard someone on about RS pellets?
and after or during pumping, do you need to use addatives like geletine with em or are they firm enough straight from the pump on the bank side !

I like the bait tech xtreme. I’ve gone off the ringers
They pump and stay on hook really well

whizzo 4mm + 6mm twice as many in a pack as ringers and better imo

have you tried soaking a nice 4 or 6mm skrettings overnight?

tried some from local pet shop near us mate, not too clever,,, bit too grainy, if left submerged they turned to soup, and if pre soaked then tubbed they just turned to a little tub of groundbait !~sick

                              I carry a variety of:

                              Next Gen Ringers
                              RS Elite VDE
                              Dynamite XL

I tend to use Ringers most of the time, RS elite on a certain venue and Dynamites when it’s hard….

you have to find the right one, they dont all work. i put em in a bag, wet em and leave overnight, keep turning the bag over. it does take all night and very easy to get wrong. but if you get it right they’re spot on.

It all depends upon the batch of Skrettings pellets that you get. Some are impossible to get right and others work a treat. The batches vary a lot even though the ingredients label reads the same! I buy mine in 20 kg bags and the last lot of micros I bought for the method, feeding and paste were rubbish except for feed. On the method you need to add G/B to get them to bind and it is almost impossible to make them into paste. If they were not micro’s they would be brilliant for the hook as they just do not break down! The 4’s and 6’s are completely the opposite and break down into a mush very quickly. Same ingredients on the bag.

I think that also applies to expanders, some packets are good, others are hopeless from the same manufacturer. I have had brilliant Bait -Tech ones but the last lot I bought was rubbish. I haven’t tried the Ringers to be fair but just about all the rest.

Cornish bagging pellets from whiteacres. Just soak the hard pellets in water. They hold their shape perfectly and remain nice and firm. Evey single on will also sink without the need to pump.

if your after a pre made pellet the gott baits rippers take some beating, brilliant texture AND can be hooked without any problems

I found the merlin baits pellets in the 4mm and 6mm are very good, i dont think that u can get the R.S Elites not the whiteish ones anyway theyve stopped makein them….

I like the RS Elite expanders when it’s warmer, while for colder weather I’ve got on best with the original ringers 4mm’s.
