Good read again Gavin. I think our 2 weekends past are at the opposite end of the scale compared to each other – I had Roach shortlining at 13m in 16ft of water and Skimmers on the Feeder in 18ft of water over the 2 days.

I enjoyed reading those David – it’s been a long while since I’ve done any fishing for silvers, I used to love days fishing for skimmers on the Cam, although even the more modest distance you were fishing on there would have been in the field or garden the other side! Shame the cormorants arrived, as you do well to get a bite on many of the places I enjoyed so much ten years ago 🙁
