        i have a match here on december 5th,should i sit it out for carp or is it worth going for silvers,any info would be welcome.thanks steve .

          You would probably need to cast 80yds plus to get fish, i really would not know about the silver fishing. I hear there are loads of roach though

            I think it all depends where you draw, anything above peg 80 I would just go for carp , chucking 60 yrds plus . anything below , I would have a silvers line in at 13 mtrs , GB and caster. and you may get some carp in the last hour on the pole line. its normally method feeder at range , with either white or red boilie , or maggot.
