Anyone here fish Bough Beech. We got a summer league match on there in a few weeks time and its a 2hr drive so no chance of a practice. Any info would be great.

        many thanks
        Dave

not fished there for a while…long chuck needed 80-90 turns, skimmers and bream, fishmeal gb worm caster maggot corn, natural banks normally fish better then the dam wall.

As nobody’s replied D, not been on it for 2 years. It’s still a long chuck, 28grm closed feeder, Sweet Fishmeal and a mix of hook baits, dead reds, caster, worm , corn, Not heard that pellet has taken over YET !. Roach can be caught in numbers short on pole or wagg but watch out for huge ESOX.

Not sure of level but normally its 7 slabs showing on the DAM wall at this time of the year,
anglers say there are 13 slabs and have two lines, just past slab 13 and then as far as you can chuck in the conditions (on a school field trip with my youngest to the RES I asked about the slabs and they had no idea!!!)

fished there today..the water is about six slabs down for this time of year its quite high…was on the dam wall by the first steps came 4th with 21lb with just six bream..the guy to my right had 23lb of roach and perch on the whip fishing 6/8 mtrs to hand..the winner had 51lb mostly all bream on worm and corn 35lb was second on the tip with also worm and corn…most were chucking 50-60 turns..every one had double figures..think the lowest weight was 12lb ish..it fished patchy as most had to wait for bites.
