Braid to rig line connection

I am currently using a small braid loop at the end of the hollow elastic – with a knot in the elastic. I am getting the line wrapped over the end of the pole and it is costing me fish.
Can anyone recommend a better system?

Is it the top loop of the rig thats wrapping over the pole? If so, particularly if using heavy lines, you can get away with just one loop in you rig and stll undo it at the end of the session.

You could also try putting a bit of superglue along the braid loop to make it stiffer so it sits away from the pole better and won’t wrap back towards the pole.
