          Hi,

I have the 15ft and 14ft version. I’ve only had them a couple of months or so but so far I am very impressed. I’ve used the 15ft version with both braid straight through and also a mono shockleader for fishing up to 120 turns of my Browning FD 665 (37 inch per turn). The 14ft version I was using on the Loch Ken easter festival and fishing up to 90yds for skimmers and roach. In terms of the blank there is loads of power in the bottom 2/3rds for the casting ability, whilst the top 1/3rd is softer which is ideal for playing soft mouthed skimmers on braid. The tips are spot on, they have nice big eyes and blend into the blank very nice – another bonus is that the tips fit all the King Feeder range. They are that good I have resigned the tricasts I have to the rod bag, time will tell however as the tricasts have lasted 8 years or so and are still going strong. There is an article in Improve Your Coarse Fishing this month on fishing Bassenthwaite Lake, have a look at that, I am using the 15ft version there and it’s fine for those Roach/Dace on braid straight through at 85yds.
