Take the section back to fosters with a note about what had happened and contact details,they will either replace the section FOC or send it back to daiwa who will check out the section and normally replace it as the pole is less than a year old.Don’t attempt any self repair as this invalidates the gurantee period. All poles sold should be fit for purpose.
Fosters may even arrange collection by courier FOC of the section if you ring them and tell them what happened, and send you out a replacement asap.
my mate bought a pole from fosters and they sent out a courier and picked up the broken section and sent him a new one, have faith give them a ring.
