TF_yiddoWhy is it that when Spurs get beat there is a thread about it straight away yet when they win it goes quiet? We were superb tonight we played the champions of europe off the park Gareth Bale has got to be the best left sided player in the world on current form

TF_MICK THE BOOKIEAdi…….A brilliant result for the second best club in North London.Congrats are truly justified.Harry will have his work cut out to keep Bale.He might just help pay for about a tenth of your new ground. An outstanding player who might do a Sol C. and get a bus across town.
Well done you Spurs….Yiddooooooooooos.~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap ~sick ~sick -

TF_yiddonw cut angler Bale wouldn’t fit in at man utd mate he’s not a money grabbing cheat and as far as i know he doesn’t use the services of prostitutes also he can stay with Spurs and win nothing so he got no reason to move ~clap

TF_GavinWell, he’d win sod all moving across north London! I think he’ll stay at least another season simply because nobody can offer him anything he’s not getting at Spurs!
It wasn’t just Bale who was superb last night, Modric was great and who can honestly say that anyone who saw Kaboul at the lane three years ago would have thought he’s that one on the pitch last night.

Like Rooney I think Gareth is not very well blessed in the looks department so perhaps Wayne can give him his contacts.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the deal has been agreed. Watch this space.
Spurs? What was the score at OT last week. How good was Nani’s goal.

TF_yiddoits all down to harry gavin g he has transformed players since he has been manager players like hutton, kaboul and even bale they were useless when ramos was in charge but harry has given them a chance and he believes in them so it boosts the players confidence

TF_yiddonwca where are man utd gonna find £50m from to buy bale then? And i hate to be the bearer of bad news but you lot are gonna struggle when the pensioners retire and nani’s goal was a joke a bit like his hissy fit rolling around on the floor after he dived trying to get a penalty same old story man utd get all the big decisions go their way at old trafford. Do you think if robbie keane had done the same thing at the other end the goal would’ve stood? Fergie’s face would’ve gone even redder and clattenburg wouldn’t have got out of old trafford alive

Well said. My phone was red hot the night we got in Milan and guess what! I had one text message congratulating the performance last night from an Arsenal fan!
We are doing OK. Man Utd haven’t got the money to buy without selling Rooney!

Paul_TFirst of all well done to Spurs, that’s coming from a Gooner! ~sick
But please can we have a reality check here. You played Inter under Benitez, not the all conquering Inter under Mourinho. Do you think that Jose would have allowed Bale to be so dominant over 2 legs?
Everton managed to double up on him and he had a quiet game. Did he play against Man U at the weekend.Spurs fans do you think you have had a good start to the season? The way I see it is you’re only 3 points in front of Liverpool who have hed their worst start in 30 years!
I’m not knocking you, it was a great performance last night, but lets not get ahead of ourselves!

TF_MarkTIt was nice to see Gareth bale has found his way out of rafa da silva back pocket…..
Yiddo there was nothng wrong with Nani’s goal, maybe Gomes should wake up next time, school boy error!!
I agree with Paul T that Inter team isn’t playing the same as it was last year, they all look unfit, abit like that fat Spanish waiter they’ve got as a manager.
We don’t want Bale anyway, Evra’s been doing that for the for us for years.

The deal is 40 million Yiddo. Trust me. Enjoy Bale while you can.
The great footballing clubs be it Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea have ways and means. Like it or not Spurs are a pretty football club but that is all since the days of Dave Mckay (spelling)

Have you got a source for that??
I don’t think he will be and neither do alot of other United fans, where does Evra fit into the team with Bale there?? Evra does a better job and he’s proven, Bales had 2 good games and he’s the best player in the world??
There is only one way United sign him and thats IF and a BIG IF they don’t finish in the top 4 and have a very poor run then maybe he might just leave. But tbh i can’t see it, we need to be spending money on the midfield not wingers.

Yiddo, Bale will replace Giggs and that is the big drawcard. Giggs is Bale’s hero etc. The idea of replacing the previous Welsh hero appeals to him.
Lennon is a decent player though. He might stay then again maybe not.

TF_MARKHLDASThis will be the acid Test in The Yids rise from the depths of dispair.
Keep Bale and your with the big boys, lose him and it’s back to obscurity along with the Scousers.

TF_Dodgeyiddo, dont worry Utd cant afford proper players !
As i posted on another forum last night having watched Spurs beat Inter last night , Bale was outstanding on the big stage and a top result for Spurs ….. ~clap ~clap ~clap

03/11/2010 at 7:53 pm #120666
TF_GavinBale has himself came out and said he’s staying, check the beeb website! He wont be sold, so he’s going nowhere.
Incidentally, it may have Inter under Rafa, but EVERY player on the pitch last night was a Jose signing.
I don’t believe for one moment we’ll win it, but for certain now no club is going to see us as an easy draw.

TF_NW Cut AnglerWhen was the last time a player and/or a club said one thing but did the exaxt opposite?
Today, Yesterday, the day before that, last week

TF_GaryWas it about this time last season that everyone was talking about Ashley Young in the same way? £20m player, going to a big club, etc. Don’t get me wrong, I think Bale is a very talented footballer (he’s in my Fantasy Football team!), but I think it is preposterous to start putting him in the same bracket as Messi and Ronaldo.
Judge him over two seasons, not two games.
Great result for Spurs, though. Well played

TF_herbieyiddo why would we want bale ( united ) he,s ok against italians but against proper teams like bolton he never gets a kick. weve enough of your lame duck cast offs( lazytof, carrick,) you keep him or sell him to the chavs, he will fit in there nicely ~shh same type of club~think low expectations and won nothing for generations~sick ~sick ~sick

TF_yiddoSame old story with spurs world class 1 day non league the next thats why we will never win the premiership they can raise their game to play the big teams but then lose to crappy teams like bolton, wigan and west ham. But i wouldn’t bet against us in a 1 off cup game thats when we are most dangerous. They had to go 3 down at bolton before they started to play its just not good enough
