The law is the Town and Country Planning Act which attracts a possible fine of £2,500. To my mind this is very cheap in advertising terms and perhaps should be a wheeze that the Angling Trust could utilise, in extremis, if the EA funding for example stops them from carrying out their statutary duties.
Cheap to do, maximum impact and no dependency on getting anglers marching on Downing Street!
