I cant speak as an owner, but have looked at all the rods when I have had the chance. Personally, I don’t like them as much as the tourny rods I’ve had a waggle with too,
Mostly it was because the handle puts you further away from the spool lip on your reel. The tourny reel seat puts the reel cxloser to the blank.
The float rods are also a much thicker black than the tourny ones. Not sure side by side on actions, but would say the tourny 13w would make a better natural water waggler rod. I felt the airity rods were far more geared towards commercials. For a 12ft mostly bream rod I’d feel both the airity and tourny feeder rods are a little stiff. You’d be better off looking further down the range at a conny g in my opinion, or the 12q match winner if you can find one as it’s a much softer action IMO and therefore more suited to traditional bream fishing.
If you want a rod for the Yare and Bure though, the tourny 12-13 might be the way to go as it has more backbone to cope with the flow and the heavier feeders needed, the downside is you won;t have as much action to soak up the thumps. I used my older medium 11-13 match winner on the yare last year and found it perfect. Didn’t sit right on the sure though, as the flow was much strong at st bennets so had to use the power model of the same rod.
