        Are these any good?

        They claim to be better than adding an extra butt section…

        They could be quite useful for reaching out over ledges at 13m and for venues around me that are between top 4 & top 5 deep.

        Might save me investing in a 14.5m extension ~shh

          yes they.re ok.i bought one to use with my spectron comp.didn,t make any difference to it.s balance even when fishing at full length.very handy for what you stated.

            i was advised to use only 1 if your carp fishing with it but i know a man who uses 4 while silver fish fishing says its ok but wouldnt trust them on carp

                            Not got 1 but to me it’s obvious that anything that makes a pole or rod a slower taper will make it bend more and be more floppy.

                              The new 0.8m parallel No4 has been designed to fit between the 4th and 5th sections without having to remove a section so anglers can reach that extra distance required without affecting the performance and balance of the pole as much as it would with a reversible extension.

                              cant see why it would make it floppy…..
