TF_andynorth2003ParticipantFishermans Friend make me laugh, every month they spend god knows how much on the spread in Match Fishing and have the same two crappy pages, which have clearance poles from 1992!!
Whats all that about?
Maybe done for times like these eh! -

Yes the Futron top kits fit the Tectron. I bought some from Fishermans Friend for the exact same purpose. Brilliant service from them as well! ~clap

TF_proper tidal boyonly prob with top two of futron very short and lightweight and not up too carping, whereas the rest of the pole makes a very strong pole maybe shortening no 4 to fit stronger top twos would be a compromise but i only have one no 4 ?????? and being a tad old wont hold my breath for another no 4 unless esselle could come up with a solution ????

TF_rb211Had the Futura from new and brought the Futron off a mate for 80 notes with 4 top kits and a few spares sections dont get bargains like that very often and still use them for everythink except commercials

TF_slappythat was cheap!!
very light pole, the mactron i had used to use no12 in it and in winter series at lands end had fish to 15 on it plenty power!!
would thought a no8 in futron and no10 on tectron would be fine nowadays!
got mine as mu gis preston pole use is too thick but sections are BLOODY dear 🙁

TF_rb211yep got no8 in a couple of top kits and 6 in the other 2 like you say they are so light and a pleasure to use I use a Sensas 734 on commercials which is nice to fish with but when you use the Futron or Futura you can hold it allday as it feels like you fshed with a todays top 4 or 5
