Damp Ring!!!!

I have got the original Preston On Box,(seat box)
which is about 8 years old.
The problem is this year the seat has small cracks in and when raining starts to soak in water and then yes i get a damp ringpiece through my HH bib and brace.

can you buy new seats or covers to fit or any sprays to make it waterproof???? before winter.

find a local upholster they will be able to recover the seat for you.

Preston make (or use to make) a box cover. I always put mine back on if it starts raining. It also prevents the rain running down the sides of the box and into the draws.

the alternative is loads of vasaline around your ringpiece………..
